Homemade Almond Milk

Making almond milk at home relieves you of the additivies in the store bought versions, allows you to get creative in additions (vanilla, dates, agave, cinnamon, etc). and is a major relief on your wallet. This simple recipe will change your relationship with nut milk for the better. Better put a ring on it.


The Food

1 Cup of Raw Almonds

4 Cups of Filtered Water

Optional: Add agave to sweeten, cinnamon, or vanilla for flavor.

Equiptment: Vitamix (or similar high powered blender or food processor), nut milk bag, and large bowl.

The Process

Add all ingredients to your Vitamix, press the smoothie feature, or process on 5 for 15 seconds, and 8 until consistency is thin and milk is completely white.

Pour mixture into your nut milk bag inside a large bowl.


Let strain and squeeze the bag.
